Do you have a great photo of yourself climbing in Montserrat? Whether you’re a photographer or a climber, this is your chance to show it off. Submit your A4 image using the form on this page before Tuesday, November 18th, and enter the Montserrat Photography Contest. All photos will be displayed on Thursday, November 20th, at Sharma Climbing Gavà, during the event dedicated to the evolution of climbing on this iconic mountain.
The winning photo will be chosen by public vote at 8:30 pm, and the photographer will receive a t-shirt and chalk.

Screening and talk – Homo Montserratinus
Enjoy the documentary Homo Montserratinus and a discussion with key figures from the past and present of climbing in Montserrat. An audiovisual journey through the history, ethics, and evolution of this iconic climbing area.

Wine, appetizers and a photographic exhibition
After the screening, share a glass of wine and an aperitif at the bar while enjoying a photographic exhibition dedicated to climbing in Montserrat.
Montserrat Photography Contest
Participate by sending your climbing photo from Montserrat (A4 format). All photos will be displayed during the event, and the winning photo will be chosen by the public at 8:30 p.m.

Nos acompañarán algunos de los protagonistas que han marcado la historia de la escalada en Montserrat. Con ellos compartiremos experiencias, anécdotas y visiones sobre cómo ha evolucionado la escalada en este entorno único.

SAMUEL COLOMER
Climber, director, and author, known for exploring the connection between humans and mountains. Director of Homo Montserratinus, his work promotes respect, safety, and tradition in climbing.

JOAN CERDÀ
A historical figure in Catalan mountaineering and a member of GAM and SAM. Between the 1960s and 1980s, he opened numerous routes in Montserrat, the Pyrenees, and the Andes, also participating in international expeditions.

DANI BURGAROLAS
Barcelona-based climber and journalist specializing in traditional climbing and big walls. A member of CADE, he has made first ascents in Montserrat, the Pyrenees, and Mont-sec, always with an ethical and committed approach.

JORDI ESTEVE
A leading climber in the traditional Montserrat climbing style. He has opened and freed numerous routes in the area and on international walls, standing out for his commitment to the purity and original spirit of climbing.
